Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Within the Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon, we are blessed with countless people working tirelessly to respond to the many spiritual, social, and physical needs within our parishes and throughout the greater community. I am inspired by the church leaders and dedicated volunteers who live the gospel values every day, reaching out to those who are sick, grieving, hungry, disabled, marginalized, and imprisoned. They help to catechize children, inspire youth, call forth vocations, strengthen marriages, help families in crisis, and educate the faithful.
The demand for our ministries, programs, and services is great and is ever increasing. We rely completely on philanthropic support to provide the funding necessary to run these valuable services. Planned gifts, such as those described in this newsletter, can help ensure that the good work of the Diocese of Saskatoon will continue today and well into the future.
All planned gifts make a difference, no matter the size or type. Even a seemingly small gift provides valuable future funding and is greatly appreciated. Knowing that future support exists enables us to adapt our programming to meet our changing diocesan needs.
Planned gifts are a profound way to make a lasting commitment to stewardship and to your faith community. They also ensure that our diocese will remain vital for future generations. I invite you to read more about planned giving on this website and to contact our Planned Giving Officer, Jocelyne Hamoline, for more information.
